All stats are capped at 99. Modifiers cannot raise them above this cap.
Strength (STR)
Weapon Attack Power: STR/4 is added to the base weapon attack power for all characters. If Edge has two weapons equipped, this value is doubled.
Attack Multipliers: Characters get one additional attack multiplier for every 8 STR.
Agility (AGI)
Relative Agility: Relative Agility is calculated once at the start of battle, based on each character's AGI relative to the anchor's.
Attack Multipliers: Characters get one additional attack multiplier for every 16 AGI.
Physical Evade Multiplier: Characters get one additional physical evade modifier for every 8 AGI.
Magical Evade Multiplier: Characters get one additional magical evade modifier for every 32 AGI.
Vitality (VIT)
Physical Defense: Characters get 1 additional physical defense for every 2 VIT.
HP After Life1: Life1 and Life Potions revive a character, setting their current HP to VIT * 5. If a Life Potion is used outside of battle, this value can temporarily exceed the character's maximum HP, though it will be capped once they enter battle.
Status Effect Timers: Poison and Gradual Petrification battle timers are based on VIT.
Wisdom (WIS) and Willpower (WIL)
The Willpower stat is used for White Magic. The Wisdom stat is used for all other magic.
Spell Multipliers: Characters get one additional spell multiplier for every 4 of the relevant stat.
Spell Accuracy: Characters get 1% extra spell accuracy for every 2 of the relevant stat.
Status Effect Timers: Paralyze and Sleep battle timers are based on WIL.1)
For the following, Wisdom and Will are added together:
Magic Evade: Characters get 1% additional magic evade for every 8 combined WIS+WIL.
Magic Evade Multipliers: Characters get one additional magical evade multiplier for every 32 combined WIS+WIL.
Level
Weapon Attack Power: Level/4 is added to the base weapon attack power for all characters except for Yang. If Edge has two weapons equipped, this value is doubled.
Attack Power (Yang): Yang's base attack power is (Level+1)*2, plus STR/4 as mentioned above.
Physical Accuracy: All characters get 1% additional physical accuracy for every 4 levels.
Physical Evade Multipliers: If a character has a shield equipped, they get one additional physical evade multiplier for every 16 levels.
Sneak: The Sneak success chance increases by 1% per level.
Dart: Dart damage is calculated by multiplying Edge's level by the darted weapon's attack power.
Average Party Level
Initial ATB State: In non-boss fights, the party's average level is compared to the monsters' average level to determine the chances of First Strike, Surprise, and Back Attacks.
